a night out...

each year the orthopaedics dept. has a farewell dinner for all the 5th years who are leaving. it's really nice- a jazz band, great food, the 5th years wear tuxedos and all their families come, then they get to give a little oscar winner speech about how awesome their families are. JuJu came to town a couple of weeks ago and took mary martin and i shopping to get "dada" a new shirt and tie, and me a new dress! i wish you could see the front of it better, it's really pretty! thanks juju! AND, just to ebarrass george robert, i will brag on him a little.. he won an award! i'm so proud of him. actually the whole evening makes all us wives so proud of our hubbys and all their hard work. i really can't describe how hard they work without making it sound like grandpa's uphill, both ways, barefoot, in the snow routine! anyway, i'm proud of you, honey!

Hey there. Saw you on Steph's blog and followed the link. Glad y'all are doing well. I'm embarrassed to say that I spent the night in Jackson Wednesday night and didn't think to call you two. Unacceptable behavior on my part. We're all going to have big fun on the river at Pine Barren Creek the weekend of the 21st so if George Robbie can get away y'all come. Curt
